Organized by ADEA – Agency for Business Development in Africa – and fruit of a partnership with the Rhône-Alpes Region, Greater Lyon and the City of Lyon, the EURAFRIC Forum gathers every year in Rhône-Alpes – 1st European region of energy – experts and main international donors, political and economic decision-makers as well as several European companies around the water and energy issue.
Sectors considered to be priorities in Africa and meeting the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) of United Nations: halve by 2015 the proportion of people without access to drinking water.

The objective of the Partnership Meetings with Africa is, on the one hand, to promote the inter-company partnership between the EU and Africa in the sectors of Water and Energy, and on the other hand, improve the competitiveness of African businesses and reduce poverty in Africa.

Due to its unique concept and the quality of the speakers, the Lyon Forum has become the essential meeting place for SMEs / SMIs.
It is aimed at European and African SMEs & SMIs specialized in the manufacturing of equipment and industrial subcontracting, large public and private companies thus determined in politics, institutions and financial partners, professional associations and organizations promoting investments.

Financing, Technology Transfer and SME / SMI Partnerships are the major themes of the 4 days of meetings that met each year at the Cité Internationale de Lyon, with more than 900 participants from 20 countries in Europe and Africa.
